What payment options do I have?

You can pay for your NEXT with a credit or debit card, Paypal or bank transfer. We also have financing (for individuals and self-employed people) and leasing (for companies).

Is the scooter assembled when it is delivered? Or do I have to assemble it myself?

The scooter comes ready to use, just take it out of its box, put the rear view mirrors on and enjoy!

What is the battery range of the scooter?

Each battery has a certified battery range of 65km and thanks to the Powerpack version you will get up to 130km with its two interchangeable batteries.

How fast can the scooter go?

As it is certified as a motorcycle, its maximum speed is 45km/h.

What is the maximum weight capacity of the scooter?

The NEXT NX1 can carry up to 215 kg, which includes the rider, passenger, add-on accessories and weight of anything stored.

How much does the scooter weigh?

The scooter weighs 65 kg, which includes the battery.
The battery weighs 9 kg and the scooter without the battery weighs 56 kg.

What is the power of the scooter engine?

The maximum power of the NEXT NX1 engine is 1.7kW.

Is there room for my helmet under the seat?

There is enough space under the seat to store the charger, documentation and small accessories such as gloves. There are 2 hooks under the seat as well that you can attach your helmet to safely. You also have the option of fitting a top box on the back to keep your helmet in.

Does the NX1 have to be registered?

Because it is a motorcycle, to ride on public roads it has to be registered (yellow license plate). NEXT has a free registration service available (valued at 150 euros), which includes the number plate and all the paperwork, DGT (Spanish Traffic Authorities) fees and taxes.

How much are the taxes?

As it is 100% electric it is exempt from the motor vehicle registration tax. Moreover, depending on the town or city council they are usually exempt of the road tax or the majority of it is subsidised.

If it is exempt of the motor vehicle registration tax, why do you say that registration is worth 150 euros?

Actually, as it is an electric vehicle it is exempt from the motor vehicle registration tax, but the fees charged by the Spanish Traffic Authorities, road tax (where applicable), the license plate and the corresponding paperwork still have to be paid.

Do you have the 125cc model?

Very soon! But at the moment we only have the version that is the equivalent of 49cc, which is perfect for moving around the city.

How long do the batteries take to charge?

The batteries take between 4 to 6 hours to charge completely, in 1 hour they are 50% charged.

Does the scooter come with a warranty?

All our scooters have a 2 year warranty, which includes the battery.

What driving license do I need?

Our electric scooter is certified as a motorcycle, which means that you can use it with an AM category license and the A1, A and B category licenses.

Can you use the scooter on dual carriageways?

As it is certified as a motorcycle, you cannot use the NEXT NX1 on dual carriageways or the motorway.

Can I use the scooter when it is raining?

Yes, just like a conventional motorcycle that runs on petrol, you can use your NEXT in the rain. All the electric parts (including the engine and the battery) are hermetically sealed to make them watertight so that water cannot get in.

Can two people go on the scooter?

Yes, the NEXT NX1 is certified to carry 2 people. Furthermore, as a standard it comes with a backrest and footrest so that the passenger is more comfortable.

Are the two batteries used up at the same time?

The second battery is designed to be charged while the first is being used. In this way you can increase the battery range in just 10 seconds, which is how long it takes to replace it. You also have the option of taking the second battery charged and ready to use in a top box or backpack .

How much does it cost to recharge the battery?

It depends on the electricity rate you pay, but it costs approximately 20 cents to charge each battery, which lasts for up to 65km.

How many times can you charge the battery?

Up to 800 cycles fully charged, which is the equivalent of about 52,000km, as long as you look after and service the battery properly.

How long does it take to deliver the scooter?

Between 24 and 72 working hours from when we get the confirmation of the order. But if you want us to register it for you, this time period starts when we have completed the registration successfully. It can normally take up to 10 working days to register the scooter.

How much does the shipping cost?

Shipping is free for the Spanish mainland and the Balearic Islands.

What are the financing options?

What are the leasing options?

At the moment, this is only available for companies. The monthly payment depends on the term of the agreement and the km covered in the month. Starting from 120€/month to up to 160€/month (service and insurance included).

How do you charge the batteries?

You can recharge the removable batteries by plugging them in to any socket at home just like you do with a computer or smartphone. You can also charge your battery directly from the scooter without even having to take the battery out. Where should I put the second battery?

You can put it in a top box that is fitted on to the back or put it in a bag/backpack or something similar.

What technical service do you offer customers?

What does a service on an electric scooter entail?

Because it is 100% electric, you won't have to change the filters, oil or drive belts on a regular basis, so you will save money every year. The only thing that you have to do is change the wheels and the brake pads when they wear out.

Should I service the scooter regularly?

We recommend a service after 500 km and then every 3000 km to check all the safety elements such as the tyres, brakes or the suspension. You can service your scooter at any Norauto centre in Spain.

MOT- How often do I have to do the MOT?

Just like conventional motorcycles that run on petrol, MOTs are mandatory. When it comes to the NEXT NX1, the first MOT is after 3 years and then every 2 years.

APP- Is there an APP?

We are working on launching the APP as soon as possible. You will be able to control the scooter using your mobile phone with it: open the seat, start it, turn it off, use the GPS location tracker, receive notifications and much more.
